Artichokes are coming up very well, for now I have planted a dozen and this fall I will intercropping them with some fruit tree, it is not easy in fact combine artichoke because when it grows it becomes very big, for that reason usually is associated with trees.
But when you just planted it can be combined with lettuce, leeks, beans and peas. Also care must be taken to the ants because they use the leaves to raise us aphids, however, it was enough to keep an eye on and off by hand aphids and their eggs, it is a very delicate process because the young leaves tend to break very easily.
