Strawberries grown in pots

I planted some strawberry plants in recycled jars of other plants, I actually wanted to build a large wooden vessel in order to leave more space to the roots of strawberries, but I didn’t have time.

The idea was to make them grow up, suspended. It 'an idea that came to me reading a fine book by Jamie Oliver (which by the way I love) that was given me for Christmas the title is "My natural cuisine" and for each season he tells how and what grows in her vegetable garden and then there are recipes on vegetables recounted. He grows strawberries in pots. In fact if they are raised from the ground they will eliminate a number of problems, for example ants or the contact of the fruit with the earth that can create rottenness. Raised strawberries grow and mature dangling in the air.
With the vessel so small strawberries are still ticked but despite being fragrant and beautiful colored have not reached a good sugar so I used them to make a cake a bit 'special that came very good thanks to very intense aroma of strawberry.
